14:11 paramat it's partly because we have flowers for all the rainbow colours except green, that bothers my perfectionism :]
14:12 paramat black would mean a flower for all basic dyes, and black roses appeal to me (i like dark gothic stuff like that). rare yes, just one place where they grow naturally, and are actually a very dark red

14:39 paramat something i don't like about coal for black dye is that it is a non-renewable non-farmable resource, unlike all other dyes. coal is not always available, for example on a lifeless moon or planet, or in a high-altitude floating base or a space station/space colony

14:47 Sokomine it was fine as long as there where mixing receipes for dyes. it was possible to figure out how to turn one dye into all other dyes through crafting. green from cactus or even black from coal where good sources. the exact receipes varied depending on the server
